Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US as well as Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She is currently working as a sportscaster at ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. Her mother is TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. This skill allowed her to land her first job at Univision, Miami. She could work with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next job was as a Sports Reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. She moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. The stories she covered were about the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs in both Texas as well as Mexico. She was also often asked to be anchors for the weather and sports. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's Dallas-affiliate station. There she had more accountability. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. In addition she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She also served as the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. The anchor also worked in the same role for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico. The family were moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She's younger than her sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and moved to Miami. In the course of a few months, her father split from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. She stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer, where she had been provided with a job. At the time of her senior year in high school but knowing exactly about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta went to her local University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her requirements. It turned out that she was a fan of the university and the university offered the major she was looking for. She graduated from school and was attended the university as an undergraduate major in media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor for WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a part. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his passion for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
